There hasn't been very positive feedback on the i-mode phone models introduced in the StarHub pre-launch promotion. Still, word is out that the two more expensive ones are already "sold out", leaving new applicants with no choice but to get the NEC N411i.
What I want to know is why we don't get cute phones like this:
I found this picture in a two-year-old forum thread. So, since we're always late in getting the cool stuff, maybe we'll see these in Singapore five years down the road. By which time they might not be so cool anymore. Hmmm.
Wait long long,

Unfortunatly the Japanese phone, which I have to say are not only cutter but also loaded with much much more features, are NOT compatible with the "export" version of imode. NTT DoCoMo keeps the best for "internal use"

I am ok with clamshells phones. Some look really sleek and sexy or cute. Either works for me. :P But I want the REALLY cute ones you only get in Japan!

Yeah... I would like some sexier phones too, but the ones that I saw people using in Japan were all pretty similar: clamshell with a large colour screen. I guess that the format works well for i-mode...
