Got it!
Picked my phone up from the i-mode expo this evening, straight after work (and an hour-long bus ride). Very pleasant attendant who unfortunately got a little confused by a couple of my questions. Notwithstanding, the whole process was reasonably smooth and I got to fiddle with the phone over a peaceful, unhealthy burger dinner.
Tried out video convo with J; good video quality! Slight lag, which is understandable, but on the whole a nice experience. Except I looked like a volleyball with hair, but that's another story.
This week, I'll be spending time on getting subscribed and other i-mode things, so stay tuned!

hi adrian! sorry to hear you didn't get picked, but that gives you a reason to peer over your friend's shoulder :D
i guess it's true that i-mode widens your social circle, one way or the other. feel free to ask us about it, and perhaps you could get in on the action after the trial!

cool... would like to know how is it.. Been there today too but wasn't invited.. =( went there to wait for my friend, who is working there.. anyway really envy those who got the invitation.. how did you got it? through the survey? i stumbled across your blog on i-mode website =D
